and Squadron Meeting Schedule

  • Nebraska Wing Cadet Programs News and Notes

  • Cadet Flights

  • Promotion Board: Are You Up For Promotion? Make sure you visit with MST Gallagher or Captain Neal (Captain Neal's email) to put your name on the list for the promotion board.

  • Pick Up Your Payment Notices: If you are a new cadet or had an order placed with CAPMart, be sure you pick up your "payment due" notice. Your order must be paid for before you receive the items (and you really can't do anything with your BDU's until you get that stuff). If you have your payment notice, return the bottom portion with your payment so you get credit for it.

  • Uniforms Don't Fit - Need Uniforms? If you have any uniform items that don't fit (either BDU's we issue or the blues uniform from CAP HQ), return the items to the squadron ASAP. If we don't have what you need in our inventory, we can check the Offutt AFB Thrift Shop (if we find something here it is usually a GREAT deal!). If we still have trouble finding items we might plan a trip to Offutt AFB to visit the AAFES clothing store. You must be on the Offutt entry list to get into the base unless you have official military identification.

  • Uniform Inventory - Everyone Must Complete. Take a moment to write down all of the uniform items you have received from the squadron so we have a complete record for the inventory (shoes, boots, caps, jackets, blouses and more). This includes the Blues Uniform you received from CAP HQ since it belongs to CAP. If you have outgrown your uniforms or leave the squadron, you must turn in all parts of your uniform (This doesn't include any items purchased you've purchased).

  • Uniform/Grooming: Check CAP Manual (CAPM) 39-1 for proper uniform wear, placement of insignia, etc., and personal grooming standards. CAPM 39-1 can be downloaded from cap.gov (click "Members"; "Forms and Publications"; "Indexes, Regulations and Manuals"). It is a LARGE pdf file, 106 pages with lots of images and charts so it takes an eternity to process and print.

    • Females: Your hair must be "above" the bottom edge of the shirt collar in the back. Drooping buns, pony tails and hair that sticks out wildly does not meet grooming standards. Be sure you carry extra bobby pins, pony tail bands, spray, etc. with you so you can keep your hair neat, tidy, and "UP".

Announcements & Upcoming Events: Be sure you check this site for additional updates.
