Cadet Advisory Council

26 October 2002

The October CAC meeting took place at Camp Ashland and ran Saturday and Sunday. The third meeting of the new fiscal year, this session of the state advisory council covered a lengthy agenda of issues. Check the wing CAC site for the meeting minutes and further details.

The next meeting is to be held 23 November, from 1000 to 1600, in the Lincoln HQ building. DCCS cadets wishing to attend should use their chain of command.

VFW Commander's Homecoming

25 October 2002

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2503 requested squadron help at their commander's homecoming dinner. Douglas County often helps at the AmVets dinners held at the post, but this was one of the first times the post itself had called on our assistance. The house was packed and the squadron's assistance was much appreciated by the staff.
